As part of its ongoing mission to strengthen Mexico’s artistic ecosystem and encourage a culture of collecting, ZONAMACO introduces Circuitos ZONAMACO — a new citywide initiative that brings contemporary art out of the convention center and into the streets, neighborhoods, and independent spaces of Mexico City.
Moving beyond the usual rhythm of fairs and opening nights, this new program offers curated routes through culturally rich areas like San Miguel Chapultepec, inviting the public to explore galleries, visit artist-run spaces, and engage with projects that often exist just off the radar. The idea is to make art feel less distant, more walkable — and much more personal.
At its core, Circuitos ZONAMACO is about keeping the conversation going — year-round — between artists, curators, collectors, and curious visitors. It’s a reminder that collecting doesn’t have to be exclusive, and that contemporary art can be experienced with both depth and ease. Consider it a different kind of map: one that leads not just to exhibitions, but to unexpected encounters and new ways of seeing.
Among the participating spaces: kurimanzutto, LABOR, Enrique Guerrero, Patricia Conde Galería, and Alejandra Topete Gallery — to name a few. Each will be open for walk-ins, and many will offer programming throughout the day.
So wear comfortable shoes, bring a curious eye, and carve out a few hours to rediscover San Miguel Chapultepec — through the lens of some of Mexico’s most vital art spaces.

Circuitos ZONAMACO, La Nueva Forma de Explorar la Oferta de Arte Contemporáneo en la CDMX
Como parte de su esfuerzo continuo por enriquecer el ecosistema artístico de México, ZONAMACO lanza Circuitos ZONAMACO: una nueva iniciativa que lleva el arte contemporáneo más allá del calendario ferial y lo coloca directamente en las calles, galerías y espacios independientes de la Ciudad de México.
Lejos del bullicio de los grandes recintos de exhibición, este programa propone una experiencia más cercana y orgánica: recorridos especiales por barrios con alta concentración cultural, como San Miguel Chapultepec, que permitan a públicos nuevos y recurrentes entrar en contacto directo con el arte, los artistas y los agentes que lo hacen posible.
La intención es clara: fomentar el coleccionismo desde una mirada más humana y menos intimidante, generar conversación más allá del circuito de insiders, y sobre todo, mantener vivo el diálogo entre artistas, curadores, coleccionistas y visitantes durante todo el año.
Circuitos ZONAMACO busca abrir puertas, tanto físicas como simbólicas, y cultivar un nuevo tipo de encuentro con el arte contemporáneo mexicano.
Entre los espacios participantes: kurimanzutto, LABOR, Enrique Guerrero, Patricia Conde Galería, y Alejandra Topete Gallery —entre otros. Todos con acceso libre.
