Nicolás Jaar—one of the most inventive and unpredictable minds in contemporary electronic music—returns to Latin America with a new tour that will take him through Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile. The tour marks the first live presentation of his experimental radiophonic project, Radio Piedras Archives.
In Mexico, Jaar will perform in Coatepec, Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Ensenada.

Radio Piedras Archives: A Sonic Journey Beyond Genre
Written and composed between 2019 and 2023, Radio Piedras Archives first appeared as a 17-episode radioplay broadcast via Telegram. It begins with the disappearance of a child in the Chilean desert—an event that fractures reality and opens a dimension inhabited by non-human presences and new modes of perception.
Jaar translates this story into a live immersive sound performance, blending electronic music, ambient textures, spoken narrative, field recordings, and a poetic sense of form that resists categorization.
Guest Artists
Joining Jaar are musicians whose sonic practices, like his, stretch far beyond the conventional:
- Camilo Salinas (Chile): A keyboardist whose work bridges pop and avant-garde traditions.
- Daniel Cataño (Colombia): A percussionist whose contributions add a ritualistic, grounded pulse.
- Eli Wewntxu (Chile, Mapuche Nation): Violinist and sound artist performing Narraciones de un retorno—a seven-part work for violin and txompe inspired by the sonic memory of Mapuche lands in southern Chile. Released in 2024 on Other People.
