A Night with Tat de León: Rhythm, Style & Giant Fans at Volga

Last night, Minos Sound Room at Volga hosted one of those parties that define the pulse of Mexico City’s creative scene. DJ, model, Siclo instructor, and undisputed queen of Mexican style, Tat de León, celebrated her birthday in signature form — by gathering the crème de la crème of fashion, architecture, art, music, and pure nightlife mayhem.

As is tradition, Tat pulled together an effortlessly iconic guest list: Michel Rojkind, Niña Dioz, Alexis de Anda, the ever-stylish Xo-Chic, Lety Roman, Alberto Arango, Ramiro Guerrero, Danae Salazar, Juan Carlos Martín, fashion designers Isabelle Manhes and Marika Vera, Naiki Ross, Emiliano Berruecos and Rodrigo Peñafiel, among the guests. DJ Eli Angel and DJ Sueño set the tone with a vibrant, Latin-infused soundtrack that turned the night into a celebration of sweat, rhythm, and connection.

And of course, nothing was left to chance. The dress code —always a central element of Tat’s events— was crafted by Venus From Mayhem, who outlined the theme with precision: a blend of Dilara Findikoglu’s chaos-born Venus and Gaga’s post-apocalyptic opera. Leather, pearls, skin, and light were the guiding tones. The invitation included color palettes and styling cues, turning getting dressed into part of the ritual.

As the dance floor heated up (literally), Tat’s brilliant solution came into play: giant fans were distributed throughout the space, keeping the vibes high and the crowd cool — both physically and aesthetically.

By early evening, the venue was packed. Tequila flowed, laughter echoed, and every corner of the party felt like a living editorial spread. At some point —hard to say exactly when— the night transformed into something more: a celebration of identity, sensuality, style, and the power of community.

Happy birthday, Tat. Long live the Fuega.
